We are preparing a trial with ten participants, including foster and kinship carers and child safety sector employees. The aim is to improve everyday workflows through practical, honest feedback before a wider release.
Different experience. A shared practical purpose.
Foster and kinship carers can help us understand how the product fits everyday household organisation: finding information, preparing for appointments, managing respite and keeping track of follow-up.
Child safety sector employees can contribute feedback on terminology, workflows, clarity of records and the usefulness of proposed reports and handovers. Their involvement does not turn the initial household product into an agency case-management system or imply organisational endorsement.
All participants will use fictional examples in the selected test environment. No real children’s information or organisational case records are permitted in this initial trial.

Understand the release
Read the supplied guide, tester information and known limitations. You will be told which scenarios are ready to test.
Try practical tasks
Work through focused fictional scenarios and note where information is clear, where you get stuck and what is missing.
Help improve the next version
Share specific feedback about what you expected and what happened. Findings will help prioritise repairs and improvements.
What might you test?
Proposed tasks include setting up a placement, arranging inbound or outbound respite, recording an appointment and follow-up, documenting an incident, reviewing a report and leaving an unfinished form.
Only tasks suitable for the selected release will be assigned. The start date, time commitment, supported devices, support arrangements and tester conditions will be confirmed before anyone decides to participate.
Interested in taking part?
Create an account in the tester portal, verify your email and authenticator, then apply for the fictional-data Windows trial. Applications require approval. Installer downloads remain on hold until final checks pass.
Please include your first name, state or territory, and whether you are a foster carer, kinship carer or child safety sector employee. You may select more than one role. Keep the message about your interest in the product, without identifying children, families or cases.
An enquiry is not automatic enrolment or confirmation of a place. Individual access and the applicable trial information will be provided to selected participants before testing starts.
